Points of Interest – To the (left) is the Six Bells Colliery, in the grounds next to the Bethany Church can be seen 4 large buildings constructed by Messrs J. Lancaster & Co, the owners of the Colliery, the buildings are not identified but later demolished to construct the Colliery Canteen, Pay Office, Pit Head Baths and other buildings on the pit grounds.
