Zulu or African Spear Heads

Two Zulu or African Spear Heads.
Made from iron in the tanged type design with flat blade.  Size 15″ inches.

One of the spearhead shafts has its original copper wire plaited around it.

Dated 19th century.

The previous owner had tried to remove the rust and natural patina with sandpaper and ruined them, I tried to clean them up but the character and any value of the spearheads are now gone. I have added them to the collection only for reference purposes.

The quality of the steel is outstanding.
