A Colliery Pithead Baths Shower.
This is an original colliery pithead baths shower control and shower head. This shower has part modern copper pipework, painted grey for display purposes, the rest of it is all genuine.
Size – 34″ inches in height, from the control tap to the top of the curve on the head. 16″ inches from the wall to the shower spray head and the twist tap control is 6″ inches in depth and 8″ inches in width. It has the red and green end terminals showing hot and cold and on the twist tap front piece it is stamped hot, tepid, cold and off. The soap dish holder, which was normally attached to the middle pipe, is missing.
