Chivers Bros of Cwmtylery Beer Bottle.
This is a rare Chivers Bros of Cwmtylery Beer Bottle. It is a green glass blob-top cork stopper beer bottle embossed with Chivers Bros of Cwmtylery and their trade mark fountain.
Made from glass. Made by Redfearns of Barnsley, the makers name and place is embossed on the base of the bottle.
Size – half pint. It is 8″ x 2 3/4″ inches.
The very early glass and stoneware bottles had the spelling Cwmtylery, though the later bottles had the spelling of Cwmtillery.
