A Miners Snap Tin.
A common type of miners snap tin (sandwich container). Made by the ACME Company.
Made from tin. Size 8″ x 4″ x 2″ inches.
The top and bottom compartments were designed to slot into each other for a tight fit, just friction keeping it shut. These tins had the wire handle for attachment to a belt.
Used throughout the latter half of the 20th century.
