An Iron Candle “Grip” Holder Spike.
Used in mines and levels. The holder would be wedged into a crevice firmly gripping the candle between the prongs for lighting the work place.
Made from iron. Size 5″ x 2 1/2″ x 1″ inches.
This candle spike was found in an old coal level in Ebbw Vale.
