A Vintage Miners Snap Tin. A Miners Snap Tin (sandwich container). Made from tin. Size 7″ x 4″ x 2″ inches. Originally manufactured with no handles. Used between the 1930’s to the 1960’s.     

Miners Sandwich Container. A rare type of miners sandwich container. Made from tin. Size 7″ x 4″ inches. Hinged through the middle with a sliding catch.  Used throughout the 20th century. 

A Miners Snap Tin. A common type of miners snap tin (sandwich container). Made by the ACME Company.  Made from tin.  Size 8″ x 4″ x 2″ inches. The top and bottom compartments were designed to slot into each other for a tight fit, just friction keeping it shut. These tins had the wire handle for attachment to a belt.  …
