Policeman’s Helmet Badge – Rose Heyworth Colliery Picket Duty 1984. This police helmet badge was taken from a police helmet during the picket duties outside Rose Heyworth Colliery in November 1984.

National Union Of Mineworkers Membership Card. At the time Rose Heyworth Colliery closed, automatic union membership ceased, it was up to the individual to renew their membership to continue being part of the N.U.M. This was my renewal card renewed in November 1985 and valid until November 1986.

Picket’s Personal Paperwork – 1984. This paperwork was issued to all active pickets who travelled the country during the miners strike in 1984-85. It was to inform the individual picket and others of our legal right to picket.
