Medieval Ship Builders Hammer Head. This hammer head was found in the River Thames. Made from Iron. Size 7″ x 1 1/4″ inches. Dated 16th – 19th century.

Sailors Rigging Rope Fids. These fids were used by the rope splicers on board sailing ships in the 18th century. Made from wood. Size 11″ x 1″ inches and 11″ x 2″ inches. Dated 17th – 20th century. 

Sailors Sail Makers Needles. These sailmakers needles were made by Leech. Made from iron. Size 14″ inches. Dated 18th – 19th century.

Sailors Sailmakers Palm. Made of leather and iron. Size 5″ x 2″ x 2″ inches. Dated 19th – 20th century.  These were used on the palm of the hands with the hole for the thumb.
