Hedges Snuff Tins.
Four various sized tins of snuff “The Snuff” made by Hedges, Birmingham, England.
Sizes (2 1/2″ x 1″ inches) … (2″ x 3/4″ inches) … (1 3/4″ x 1/2″ inches) … (1 1/2″ x 1/4″ inches).
This brand of snuff was available in the colliery canteens and also in many local chemists shops. Used throughout the 1960’s to the 1980’s
There was also a white snuff produced at the time, it was a white highly scented powder in an aluminium tin, plain with an embossed lid.
