This set of playing cards was produced by Waddingtons for the Powell Duffryn Associated Collieries Ltd, South Wales. This set is pre-N.C.B.

Used around the 1930’s 1940’s.

The Powell Duffryn Associated Collieries Ltd had these playing cards manufactured in two different colours, there are a black pack (as seen left and above in the main featured image) and a red coloured pack known to be produced, both packs has a gold coloured edging to each card.
