Rose Heyworth Colliery Aerial Ropeway – Lower Section.
The map shows the lower section of the aerial ropeway leading from the engine house (upper center) the standards and rope lines can be seen heading off to the upper left.
The map also shows the old original waste tip snaking down the valley parallel to the railway lines. The old, dismantled tramlines are marked out from where the company used drams to distribute the waste.
