Six Bells Village – Circa 1903.
A close-up section of lower Six Bells from the un-posted Picture Postcard published by Messrs Morgan & Francis of the Pontlottyn Shop, Abertillery.
Points of Interest – The Six Bells Hotel (centre of the image), just to the left is the Post Office with the main Road going over a small bridge, under which travelled the Coal Trams from the Durban Level. Further (left) is Bridge Street with hardly any houses on the west side. To the (upper left) is the Cottages on Graig Road, close to the old Tramway. Just lower (far left) the out-buildings of the old Levels Sidings can be seen.
