Neuropteris. This Neuropteris fossil was found in the waste from the Rosemont Coal Levels behind Attlee Avenue, Roseheyworth, Abertillery. Fossil size 5″ x 4″ inches. This fossil is actually on the reverse of the other Neuropteris matrix. The Carboniferous Period – 354 million years to 290 million years ago.
