An M.S.A. Mining Methanometer. M.S.A. Mining Methanometer type D6D.  Made from Plastic. Size 6″ x 2 1/2″ x 2″ inches. Used for checking for Methane Gas below ground. Used with an extension a telescopic extension probe and rubber bulb, the probe would screw into the top of the detector which is situated under the Yellow cap.

An Old Circular Bird Trap. Made from iron and brass. Size 7″ inches. This type of trap was place on top of a fence post to catch birds when they came down to land. One would set the jaws and engage the catch plate, when the bird came to land on the plate it would release the spring and jaws …
