C M Snuff Tin. The C. M. Snuff was made by Gawith Hoggarth & Co Ltd Kendal, England. Size 1 1/2″ inch diameter. This brand of snuff was issued in all colliery canteens.

Gallahers Chewing Tobacco. Gallahers chewing tobacco (called twist, a screw of bacca etc). This chewing tobacco came in a moist rolled piece of fresh leaf tobacco 7″ long, bent in half and inserted into the packet and sold in the colliery canteens.
