Miners Clogs. A pair of miners clogs. Made from very thick leather uppers with wooden soles, fitted with tin toe-caps and with iron horse-shoe like protective sole and heel strips. Size 9″ inches high. These high ankle clogs were used from the 1920’s-30’s up until the 1970’s in the northern coalfields. They were also used in other heavy industries.

Rubber N.C.B. Ankle Boots. A pair of N.C.B. rubber ankle boots. Made from rubber with steel toe-cap. These are black rubber with a grey trim and toe-cap. Size 8″ inches high. This type of boot came with three different coloured trims, grey, red and green. Used throughout the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s.
