Mr Joseph Bailey Esq Iron Master, elder brother of Mr Crawshay Bailey (born 1783 – died 1858). MP for Worcester 1835 – 1847. MP for Breconshire 1847-1858.

In 1920 the Rose Heyworth Housing Scheme was underway with the batches of houses being constructed at Morley Road, Abertillery.
