A Ringrose Firedamp Alarm. This Ringrose Firedamp Alarm was made by I.G.D. Ltd the International Gas Detectors Limited of Leeds, England. Made from metal, glass, iron and copper. Size 9 1/2″ x 3″ x 3″ inches. Dated to the 1970’s-1980’s?   These metal Ringrose Firedamp Alarms were later produced with a plastic casing and also made slightly larger.

Size 10″ x 4″ x 4″ inches. Dated to the 1970’s-1980’s. These Ringrose Firedamp Alarms were made with a steel casing and also a later plastic casing version.

Mr Arthur Scargill  Toilet Roll – 1980’s. This toilet roll was issued by the Jarroy Company, London in the 1980’s. It’s still sealed but every sheet has Mr Arthur Scargill’s image printed upon them. The Jarroy Company also made a toilet roll with images of Mrs Margaret Thatcher printed on each sheet.
